Guwahati to Shillong
Arrive at Guwahati Airport and drive to Shillong. Stop at Umiam Lake (Barapani) for panoramic water views and snacks. Check in to your Shillong hotel and spend the evening walking around Police Bazar.
Shillong Local Sightseeing
Visit the multi-tiered Elephant Falls and high-altitude Shillong Peak. Explore the Japanese-style gardens at Lady Hydari Park and stroll by Ward’s Lake. Tour the multi-story Don Bosco Museum for regional tribal heritage insights.
Shillong to Cherrapunji (Sohra)
Drive to Cherrapunji, stopping at the Mawkdok Dwarpei Valley viewpoint for views and ziplining. Witness the towering Nohkalikai Falls and explore the fossil-rich Mawsmai Cave. View the cascading Seven Sisters Waterfalls (Mawsmai Falls) before an overnight stay in Cherrapunji.
Cherrapunji to Mawlynnong and Dawki, Return to Shillong
Head to Mawlynnong, recognized as Asia's cleanest village, and see its single-decker living root bridge in Riwai. Continue to Dawki to experience transparent boating on the Umngot River near the Bangladesh border. Drive back to Shillong for your overnight stay.
Shillong to Guwahati Departure
Check out of your hotel and travel back down to Guwahati. Stop at the historic Kamakhya Temple if time permits before your onward flight or train.
